Abstract

Adhering to developing the education which focus on people is a concept which the Socialism with Chinese Characteristics put forward into a new era,based on to inherit and develop the Communist Party of China’s education thoughts. It is not only the important embodiment of “people-centered development idea” in education,but also the Party’s inherent requirement of being in power for the people,which reflecting the educational essence in China,pointing out the development direction of education in our country. It is the value pursuit of well running China’s education,and also the core significance of Xi Jinping’s important argument on educational work. Adhering to developing the people-focused education has profound theoretical origin and solid practical foundation,which is a theory with rich connote. In new era,adhere to developing the people-focused education faces the tough assignments and severe challenges,so we should closely concentrate on the development concept of people-focused,promote the quality of education fairness,enhance the level of Shared education development,promote the full-scale development of students,drive the modernization of education management system and management ability,build the powerful country in education,realize the education modernization in China.

On the basis of detailed analyzing the theoretical origin,formation background and exploration process of adhering to developing the people-centered education in a thorough way,this paper elaborates the scientific connotation,value observance and theoretical implication of adhering to developing the people-centered education in the new era. First of all,it is the internal unity of people-centered educational values,functional views,development views,quality views,teaching views and international views. Secondly,it must follow the people-centered principle to highlight the characteristics of people,take the overall development principle to reflect the systematic characteristics of educational development,use the co-construction and sharing principle to highlight the purpose of educational development and other value orientations. Finally,it reflects the fundamental nature of socialist education,reveals the theme of education development in the new era,contains the theoretical character of the education to people,highlights the practical consciousness of education development,and has far-reaching theoretical implication.

We should be aware of the tough assignments and severe challenges we faced in developing education with the people-focused in the new era. First of all,the development of regional education,and the unbalance in education hierarchy and different learning and education groups,cannot meet the people’s demand for educational fairness. Secondly,the improvement of education quality,diversified development of education,preparation for new technology in education,and transformation on education are not sufficient to satisfy people’s demand for high-quality education.

Meanwhile,the education in new era steps into the new stage of building up a high quality education system,paying more attention to highly skilled talents cultivation,paying more attention to the education harmonious development through the Eastern,central region and Western,paying more attention to the coordinated development in big,medium and small cities,paying more attention to education management safeguard function,paying more attention to “Internet +” and “Intelligence +” utilization,while raising new requirements to the education development. It is the challenge that needs to be met in the new era of people-centered education development.

This paper puts forward and demonstrates the practical path of adhering to developing education on people-centered in the new era. First of all,in order to promote high-quality educational fairness,we must grasp the new connotation of educational fairness in the new era,pay attention to the new emphasis of educational fairness in the new era,and implement the new strategy of educational fairness in the new era. Secondly,we must promote the high-quality and balanced development of compulsory education,popularize high-quality preschool education and senior high school education,improve the education level of ethnic minorities and disadvantaged groups,enhance the sharing of educational development. Thirdly,we must insist the beliefs of emphasizing morality first,adhering to taking capability as the weight,and establishing the “health first” idea,to improve the aesthetic and humanistic attainments,carry forward the spirit of work,promote the students’ all-round development. Fourthly,we must take to meet the educational needs of the people as the starting point of the modernization of education governance,to improve the democratization level of education governance as the standpoint of the modernization of education governance,and to promote the modernization of education governance system and governance ability with the people-focused theory.
