V for valuable
One of the agile principles is to deliver valuable software. We want to create something valuable for someone, ideally for both the user and the business. In reality, the UX expert needs to balance business goals with user needs. In the previous example, the shopping cart view is certainly valuable, and so is a 3D preview of the product, but the shopping cart view is probably more valuable. That's fine, that's why we have the discussion on negotiable user stories. Some of the value might get discarded.
