6　Stringing

6.0.1　Prior to stringing，grading for out-of-roundness of pipe ends and wall thickness shall be conducted and stringing works shall be compliance with design requirements.

6.0.2　The landform and geological conditions of right-of-way of pipes intended shall be familiarized and pipes shall be strung on the wider sides when surrounding area is gully，road and bank，etc.Pipes shall not be laid on the structures.

6.0.3　The end-to-tail connection of pipeline is required and neighboring pipe ending turns up to be zigzag shaped and separated.Sand bag or other flexible material should be used for pipe supports.

6.0.4　During stringing，steel pipe shall be stably placed.

6.0.5　For stringing in trench，the safety distance from edge of pipeline to edge of pipe trench shall be in compliance with the provisions of table 6.0.5.
