Gaolan Port, A National Coastal Main Hub Port

作為全國沿海主樞紐港及珠江口西岸唯一的深水港，高欄港是西江及南中國海走向世界的重要門戶，是國家綜合交通運輸體系重要樞紐，國家一類對外開放口岸，全國沿海24個主要港口之一。高欄港最南端泊位距離國際主航道僅1海里，是珠三角建港條件最好的港口。現已建成生產性泊位75個，其中萬噸級以上泊位28個，擁有珠江三角洲最大噸位的8萬噸級液體化工品、8萬噸級成品油碼頭和15萬噸級干散貨碼頭泊位，具備建設30萬噸化工大碼頭的良好自然條件，為華南地區主要的油、氣和液體化工品的集散中心。

As the main national coastal hub port and the only deep-water port on the west bank of the Pearl River Estuary, Gaolan Port is an essential gateway to the world for the Xijiang River and the South China Sea. It is a vital hub of the national integrated transportation system, a frst-class opening-up port of China, and one of the 24 major ports along the coast of China. The southernmost berth of Gaolan Port is only one nautical mile away from the main international waterway, and Gaolan Port is the port with the best construction conditions in the Pearl River Delta. So far，75 productive berths have been built in Gaolan Port, including 28 berths above the 10，000-ton level. The port boasts an 80，000-ton quay berth for liquid chemicals, an 80，000-ton quay berth for oil products, and a 150，000-ton quay berth for dry bulk, which are the largest in the Pearl River Delta. It has good natural conditions for building a 300，000-ton wharf for chemicals and is themaindistributioncenterforoil, gas, andliquidchemicalsinSouthChina.
