1 General Provisions
1.0.1 The Code is developed to satisfy the requirements for bridge engineering construction and to ensure that the design，construction and maintenance of concrete-filled steel tube arch bridges follows the requirements for safety，reliability，durability，practicability，technical advancement，and economic feasibility.
1.0.2 The Code is applicable to the design，construction and maintenance of concrete-filled steel tube arch bridges in municipal and highway engineering.
1.0.3 The design，construction and maintenance of concrete-filled steel tube arch bridges shall not only comply with the provisions specified in the Code，but also those specified in the current relevant national standards.
