Organizing your files
Just as I'm sure you have with your files on your memory stick, your portable hard drive, or the files on your school server, you can organize your course files into folders. It's also a good idea to get your files organized if you are going to have colleagues teaching with you on your course. You'll want to help them to be able to sort through your files—as well as giving them an idea of the best place to upload their files, too. The process we are about to run through is an alternative to the "zipping folder" method from the previous section (zipping up folders is quicker if you need to upload a large number of files and you need to retain the folder structure they are stored in). So, let's start by creating a new folder and follow that up by learning how to move files into it.
