Fernando Carlos Rivero Esqueda is a Mexican Engineer living and working in Seattle, WA. Fernando earned both his BS in Electronic Systems and his MS in Information Technology Management from the ITESM (Monterrey Institute of Technology in Mexico); later while living in the US, he received honors in MBA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He speaks three languages: Spanish (his native language), English, and Italian.

Fernando has more than 12 years of experience working with the MicroStrategy platform. He has spent 9 years working for MicroStrategy and 3 years for a business partner as a Regional Director. His experience, combined with solid technical skills in Business Intelligence, has bestowed him with the highest certification that a MicroStrategy Professional could attain: The MicroStrategy Certified Engineering Principal (MCEP) title. During his career, he has gained international exposure working in the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, and El Salvador.

His professional career outside of the Business Intelligence world includes working for his alma mater’s academia for 5 years and starting up his own multimedia, memorabilia, photography, and video production company, Ememories (www.EMemories.net).

Fernando, who is also a passionate amateur pianist, enjoys circuits, computers, graphic design, and databases; but mostly he loves his wife and being a father of four busy little boys and one more still in mom’s womb.

Chandana Koritala works as a Sr. Business Intelligence Consultant at Smartbridge. She is a MicroStrategy Certified Developer accredited by MicroStrategy University. She has more than 6 years of experience in design, development, testing, and deploying reporting solutions. She is adept at dimensional modeling, data profiling, ETL architecture design and implementation, and OLAP cubes development. Prior to working on Business Intelligence, she created custom mobile applications using XCode, Objective C, and Java for Android, iPad and iPhone devices.
