Chapter 2. Basic Configuration

Now that we have the Opsview installation running and have seen how to manage user access, it is time to look into the basics of monitoring using Opsview.

We will look at how we can add hosts, new functionality (plugins), and manage these various parts in an easy way.

Those familiar with Nagios will recognize a lot of terms and definitions but will also see some new ones that are specific to Opsview.
