Sizing and scaling of ConfigMgr

ConfigMgr can be scaled to a size that will accommodate any type and size of organization. Keep in mind that we often split ConfigMgr installations and create additional sites/sub-sites, not because we are reaching limits in ConfigMgr, but to:

• Ease administration/maintenance
• Separate administrator access
• Physically separate the data (for example, to meet regulations)
• Put boundary lines between some instances
