The Raspberry Pi has been very popular with many projects, including IoT projects. My previous book, Internet of Things Programming Projects, uses the Raspberry Pi exclusively in the building of IoT-based projects including an internet-controlled robot car. As mentioned in Chapter 1, Introduction to Edge Analytics, the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B has brought the Raspberry Pi to desktop replacement levels. In fact, I am using this same model to write this book.
