4.3　Network Topology

4.3.1　A submarine cable system should adopt two basic topologies:P-to-P topology（Figure 4.3.1-1）and branch topology（Figure 4.3.1-2）.

4.3.2　When selecting the topology，the landing stations'geographical relationship，service demands，network safety requirements and cost effectiveness shall be taken into consideration.
