【Content Summary】

The main content of this chapter consists of three parts. The first part is to clarify the concept of graduate admissions, to determine the two most important concepts of“Graduate Admissions Scheme”and“Graduate Admissions Examination”, and to comb the main development process of graduate admissions in China. The second part is to analyze the organizational structure of the graduate admissions management system in China, and to describe the specific management structure of the admissions scheme and admissions examination. The third part is to explain the admissions objectives, scheme and process of master's and doctoral degrees respectively. A case of a college in Beijing is shown to present the whole process of graduate admissions.
