在Anna的印象里，袁子杰就是一個機器人。工作，喝酒，然后看手機就是他的全部。很少與人交流，除非必須需要交流或者沒事做。Anna并不會覺得袁子杰會覺得任何個人很重要。

“Why do you value her that much?”（你為什么覺得她這么重要。）

“I mean everyone has their weakness. Mine is in areas like communication， empathy， and organization.“（依我看來，所有人都有缺點。我的缺點就是像交流，理解他人，和自我管理能力）這時候，烤箱的聲音響了。袁子杰拿出了手套，把烤箱里的烤雞拿了出來。

把一個雞腿切下來，下面放上雞里面的米飯，上面放上雞腿，旁邊放上一些水煮蔬菜。

“Cajun rice with roasted chicken.“（印第安飯配烤雞。）

袁子杰吃了一口，“The flavor of the chicken is there， the chicken is pretty good. I might need to adjust some recipes tomorrow.”（雞肉味道很濃，這個雞還不錯。我明天需要改一改菜譜。）

“I really really like this.“（我真的很喜歡。）

“Ok， I will do the dishes and let's go home. Where do you live?“（好的，我把碗和鍋子洗了。你住哪里？）

“Sheraton.“（喜來登酒店）

“Cool， I live there too.“（好的，我也住那里。）

袁子杰把用過的鍋子和盤子洗了，放好，巡視了一圈廚房，發現都清理干凈了。

“Let's go.“（我們走吧?。┰咏苕i了門，從后門和Anna一起走了出去。

袁子杰打了車，然后和Anna兩個人一起回到了酒店。結果驚奇的發現兩個人住隔壁。

“Ok， see you soon. I need to go to bed.”（好的，馬上見，我要睡覺了）袁子杰對Anna說。

“Do you want to know the surprise? Now or never.“（你想要知道那個驚喜嗎？要么現在要么永遠不要。）

袁子杰直接關上了門，悶頭就睡。Anna看著被關上的門，不爽的嘀咕著，“How can he reject an offer from a girl?”（鋼鐵直男，怎么可以拒絕一個女生的請求呢？）

她發短信給林悅欣，吐槽了一番。林悅欣盡然還沒睡，“That's why I sort of gave up on trying to be his girlfriend. He is not romantic at all.”（這就是為什么我放棄了當他女朋友的想法。他實在一點都不浪漫。）

Anna發了一個無奈的表情。

林悅欣發了一串大笑的表情。

Anna回復到，“Alex seems like he found someone that is really important to him. He is going to visit her in the states. I am surprised.”（袁子杰找到了一個對他他很重要的人。他會去美國見她，我有點驚訝。）

“I more or less know who it is. He mentioned it via text. I am not surprised that it is her.“（我大概知道是誰的。他和我短信的時候提了一嘴。如果是她，我不是很驚訝。）

“Oh well， thanks. I feel a lot better.“（好的謝謝。我感覺好多了。）

“What did you plan to give him?“（你準備給他什么？）

“A ring. To tell everyone that he is mine.”（一個戒指。告訴全世界他是我的。）

“Ok. Do you think he will except it?“（好的，你覺得他會接受嗎？）

“I mean why should I back off if I haven't tried.”（當我還沒嘗試，我為什么要退縮呢？）

“I think this is the difference between you and me. Good luck.“（我想，這就是你和我的區別吧。祝你好運。）
