本章主要對西部大開發戰略進行回顧與展望。西部大開發第一個十年取得了良好的開局，打下了堅實的基礎，國家對西部地區的支持有力地促進了西部地區加快發展。當前國際國內環境出現了新的變化，西部地區進入了工業化中期的發展階段，正處于重要戰略機遇期，未來階段西部大開發戰略的關鍵，是西部地區能否實現發展模式的轉換。

Abstract

This chapter focuses on the retrospect and prospect of West Development Strategy.The first 10 years of the West Development Strategy has achieved a good start and laid a solid foundation.The nation's support has effectively boosted the development of western region.Currently, the international and domestic situation has changed. The western region enters into the industrialized midstage of development and an important strategic period. In the next stage, the key is whether the western development pattern can achieve changes.

西部大開發第一個十年取得了很好的成效，國家對西部地區的支持有力地促進了西部地區加快發展。第二個十年將成為承前啟后、深入推進的關鍵時期。國家將進一步完善扶持政策，進一步加大資金投入，進一步體現項目傾斜，以更大的決心、更強的力度、更有效的舉措，推動西部地區經濟社會又好又快發展。
