Preface to the Second Edition

The first edition of Human Anatomy was published in 2010.The purpose of this book is to help students understand human basic structures in a concise manner， especially for those who studying pharmacy，biomedical science，preventive medicine，and nursing.With the increase of international students in China，the book would fill a need for these students.Some use the book as a reference.

This edition has been revised based on comments.Some essential structures and their characteristics were added in the locomotor system，splanchnology，angiology，and nervous system.A large number of specimen images were used in this textbook for demonstrating human real structures.Clinical material was expanded.Cytology and histology were deleted.Some errors in the first edition were corrected.

We thank students and colleagues for valuable comments.
