The Communist Party of China (CPC) has always been committed to promoting Chinese culture. To understang China and the CPC, it is necessary to appreciate how close is the bond between the Party and China's culture. From the past to the present and from theory to practice, this book traces the Party's endeavors in inheriting and promoting Chinese culture while pioneering revolution, reconstruction, and reform in the country. It describes how the CPC set out from a new point to build a prosperous and strong country, and explains why patriotism is still a powerful driver of China's national rejuvenation in the new era. The author expresses his firm belief that the CPC will stay true to its original aspiration - bringing happiness to the people and rejuvenation to the Chinese nation - on a new journey towards socialist modernization.
