Developing your first cube
When you install Microsoft SQL Server BI services such as Analysis Services, you can also install SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT). SSDT is a designer and developer tool for SSAS cubes. SSDT was formerly known as Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS) in SQL Server 2008R2 and earlier versions.
