Introduction

In this chapter, you will learn how to manage WildFly running in the standalone mode. First we will discuss which profile fits our needs, and then we will cover how to run WildFly with a specific configuration file, navigate through the Web Console, and the CLI.

You will also learn how to get multiple WildFly instances running on the same machine, both with different ports and IPs, in case you have only one network interface. You will learn how to connect to the CLI, retrieve server information, reload server configuration, and shut down, deploy, and undeploy an application.
