While Ansible comes out-of-the-box with a wide spectrum of software integration support, it is oftentimes a requirement to integrate the solution with a company-based internal software solution or a software solution that has not already been integrated into Ansible's robust playbook suite. The answer to such a requirement would be to create a plugin-based solution for Ansible, thus providing the custom functionality necessary.
