In this chapter, we have learned about the idea behind Docker and the main differences between traditional virtualization and containerization. We know a lot about Docker core concepts such as images, layers, containers, and registries. We should have Docker installed already on our local machine; it's now time to move on and learn about more advanced Docker features, such as networking and persistent storage.
