Application domain
The application domain consists of application logic, or functions, for performing specific business functions and is concerned with high-level, global, or system-wide functions, not detailed control logic, which is the purview of the control domain. The application domain consists of logic and rules for executing functions, activities, and interfaces. The interfaces include APIs, which expose the application functions for other applications to consume, and user interfaces (UIs), which enable humans to interact with the application.
