Entertaining by providing useful information
It's getting harder to entertain users with the excessive amount of content online, but nonetheless, subconsciously the user is always looking for some kind of entertainment value. Entertainment does not necessarily mean playing a game or watching a funny video, but rather offering a rewarding value to the user. For a businessman browsing articles related to his profession, these articles can offer interesting facts that are categorized as entertainment. Another useful example of entertainment is an interactive map on a travel website: the user can search for holiday destinations and check different routes available to a destination. Entertainment can thus be categorized as any available interaction on the website that offers the user an enjoyable and satisfying experience.
