IAM HTTPS API

Another way to programmatically access AWS Services including IAM is to use IAM HTTPS (secure HTTP) Application Programming Interface (API). All the API requests originating from AWS developer tools such as AWS CLI and AWS SDKs are digitally signed by AWS, providing additional layer of security for data in transit.
