Attributes

Attributes are variables in programmer's parlance. These are placeholders where we can store data temporarily during the conversation. There are attributes that are predefined and there are those that are user-defined. In this case, users actually means developers. These can be used to steer the conversation one way or the other. Or they can be used to collect data from the user for further processing in a backend module.
