The IoT world forum reference model describes seven levels of an IoT ecosystem. These levels are as follows:
- Physical devices and controllers
- Connectivity
- Edge computing
- Data accumulation
- Data abstraction
- Application
- Collaboration and processing
We will borrow these seven levels to explore and discuss the makeup of the IoT ecosystem.
