Foreword

This Standard was jointly developed by Capital Engineering & Research Incorporation Limited（CERI）and other relevant units according to the requirements of Document Jian Biao〔2007〕No.126 issued by the original Ministry of Construction（MOC）-Notice on Printing the Development and Revision Plan of National Engineering Construction Standards in 2007（2nd batch）.

During the development of this Standard，the development group conducted extensive researches and technical studies on specific topics，summed up years of practices and experiences of designing pulverized coal injection（PCI），and solicited opinions from various units and organizations such as manufacturers，research institutes，design institutes and institutions of higher education，and finalized the draft through serious review.

This Standard comprises 8 chapters with the main technical contents as follows:General provisions，Terms，Process and Equipment，Oxygen-enriched blast and oxygen supply pipeline，Building and structure，Electrical and instrumentation control，Energy media，as well as Fire protection，security and environmental protection.

The provisions printed in bold type are compulsory ones and must be enforced strictly.

Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development（MOHURD）is in charge of the administration of this Standard and the explanation of the compulsory provisions，while China Metallurgical Construction Association in charge of the routine management，and CERI in charge of the explanation of specific technical contents.All relevant organizations are kindly requested to sum up and accumulate experiences in actual project practices during the process of implementing this Standard.If somewhere in this Standard needs to be modified or supplemented，please send your comments and suggestions to the Management Unit of Design Regulations of Pulverized Coal Injection for Blast Furnace of CERI（Address:No.7 Jiananjie，Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area，Beijing；Zip code:100176）to provide reference for future revision.
