Foreword
This code was revised from GBJ 63-90 Code for Design of Electrical Measuring Device of Power System by Southwest Electric Power Design Institute of China Power Engineering Consulting Group Corporation and interests concerned in response to the Notice on Printing and Distributing the Preparation and Revision Plan of National Standards for Engineering Construction from 2001 to 2002(Jianbiao[2002]No.85)issued by the former Ministry of Construction.
During the revision process,the revision team has undertaken extensive investigations and studies,generalized the experiences from implementation of the code of the former edition and collected comments from interests concerned throughout the country and then reviewed and finalized the draft.
This code is organized into ten chapters and three appendixes,mainly including:General,Terms and Symbols,Electrical Measuring Devices,Energy Metering,Electrical Measuring in DC Converter Stations,Computer Supervisory System Measurement,Electrical Measuring Transducers,Instrument Current Transformers and Voltage Transformers,Secondary Wiring for Measurement and Requirements on Instrument Installation.
The revisions of this code mainly involve adjustment of the application scope of the code,supplement of the requirements imposed on electrical measuring and energy metering as a result of application of computer supervisory systems and integrated equipment,supplement of the contents about electrical measuring for static compensators and series compensators,harmonic monitoring for utility grid and electrical measuring for DC converter stations.
This code is administered by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China.The daily management of it is the responsibility of the Standardization Center of China Electricity Council.And Southwest Electric Power Design Institute of China Power Engineering Consulting Group Corporation is responsible for the interpretation of the specific technical issues therein.During the implementation of the code,the interests concerned are expected to seriously summarize the experiences and collect the relevant information based on the project practices and at any time refer any comments and suggestions to Southwest Electric Power Design Institute of China Power Engineering Consulting Group Corporation at the address:No.18,Dongfeng Road,Chengdu City,Sichuan Province,Postcode:610021,for reference in the future revision of the code
