華夢萱還在沉吟,她好理清思緒,整個線索目前己經(jīng)很清楚,但她想不通為什么晴氏集團(tuán)和富華集團(tuán)的股東王寧會牽涉在這個毒藥的事件中。她忽然好奇地問,“Howard,你真是化學(xué)天才,對了,你是怎么想到要攻讀化學(xué)專業(yè)的,確實(shí)太適合你了,你有學(xué)化學(xué)的天賦。”
這時,賬篷外飛過一群螢火蟲,十分浪漫,和著夜空中明亮的星星,遠(yuǎn)近交相輝映,分不清哪是一顆顆的星,哪是一只只的螢火蟲。正好,那邊賬篷里有人正在唱著Don Mclean的《Vincent》:

Howard聽得有點(diǎn)入神,一邊聽一邊喃喃地對華夢萱說:“其實(shí),我自幼喜愛畫畫,小時候的夢想是長大后成為象梵高一樣的畫家,9歲以前,我一直專心學(xué)畫,拿過一些小獎,老師也說我很有天賦,將來有一天能開自己的畫展。”
華夢萱說:“那后來呢?”
Howard的聲音忽然變得低沉:“9歲那年,我爸爸投資失敗,飲彈自殺。而他投資的那家公司就是全美國最大的化工廠,因?yàn)榛瘜W(xué)研究落后,生產(chǎn)事故頻發(fā)而倒閉。我從那時起,就希望在化學(xué)上能成為全世界頂尖的諾貝爾化學(xué)獎獲得者,成立自己的化工企業(yè)。”
